GDPR – General Data Protection regulations – Your information is safe with us

As you will be aware, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force from 25 May 2018.

At Corries we want to assure you that we are treating your data carefully. We are introducing some changes to comply with GDPR.

We do not have and have never used our Client’s information for marketing purposes either for ourselves or for any other third party. We do not send marketing e mails. The only e mails you get from us are to do with our professional dealings with you.

We have updated our Privacy Notice which is on our website (see below) and we will be informing our clients about the changes as we go along.

What are we doing to make sure we comply with GDPR?

  1. We have updated our Privacy Policy which sets out how we deal with your data, and your rights.  Here is a link to it here for you to see

2. Our staff have had training to make sure we do not breach the new rules.

3. We will be writing to existing client to inform them of any changes which might affect how we deal with their claim.

4. Our data protection officer is Howard Bonnett and he can be contacted on 01904 527464 if you have any issues with our GDPR compliance.
